Lee Jung-il, President of the Korea Potting Soil Association, defined potting soil not as mere "soil," but as a "starting point" and a space where crop seeds sprout and take root. Since
the production of high-quality crops begins with robust seedling cultivation, potting soil serves as the matrix for seedling growth. Therefore, he emphasized that potting soil is the most fundamental and decisive element in crop cultivation.
President Lee stressed, "A single good potting soil determines the cultivation of healthy crops. Potting soil is the core infrastructure that dictates crop yield and quality."
In fact, domestic potting soil is of excellent quality on a global scale, and its strength lies in its diverse and segmented variety tailored to specific crop cultivation environments.
In particular, the Korea Potting Soil Association has been continuing its efforts to establish quality standards for potting soil and to stably supply soil that farmers can trust and use.
