The Deoksan-eup Sports Association in Jincheon-gun (Chairman Min Young-hwan) successfully hosted the "2nd Residents' Harmony Sports Festival and 1st Deoksan-eup Family Singing Contest" on September 21st, despite the rainy season, allowing residents to enjoy the event together.

The event kicked off with the Residents' Harmony Sports Festival held at the youth soccer field in Chungbuk Innovation City. Approximately

900 residents participated in various sports, including County Council Chairman Lee Jae-myung, National Assembly Member Im Ho-seon, Jincheon-gun Sports Association Chairman Kim Myung-sik, local county council members, and Deoksan Agricultural Cooperative Chairman Cho Jeong-hwan, spending time communicating with one another.

In particular, teams organized into 10 groups from 49 villages competed in sports such as foot volleyball, volleyball, and dodgeball, embodying the spirit of harmony and cooperation rather than competition.

In the subsequent 1st Family Singing Contest, a total of 15 family teams participated, with entire families—from young children to the elderly—taking the stage together to showcase their unique talents.

One participant at the event commented, “We usually lack time to spend together as a family, so I am happy to have had this opportunity to create memories.”

Min Young-hwan, President of the Sports Association, stated, “I hope this event serves as a good opportunity for residents to strengthen their unity,” adding, “We will continue to prepare various programs for the residents in the future.”
